Hi, I bought a domain name( but realised i made a mistake in the name so i deleted it after i paid for it. I paid CDN$51.18 for it. I created a new domain( and paid again(CDN$13.27). Can i get a refund of my CDN$51.18 since i removed that domain the very day i paid for it.

I have checked your transactions in your Yola account. A domain cannot be deleted once registered, so your domain is still available to you in your Yola account. You bought this domain on 1 April, and I'm afraid to tell you that this is too long ago to do a refund for you. Domains can generally not be refunded or changed after they have been registered. What you can do now is go to your Domains page on your My Yola dashboard and turn auto-renewal for your domain off. You will then not be billed for this domain again.

To explain to you the amount of CDN$51.18: You didn't pay this amount only for your domain, but for your whole Yola Bronze hosting package, domain privacy, and the domain. You will need the hosting package for any domain you run with Yola.

I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you. But be assured that having multiple domains for your organisation is beneficial to you: You can get better search results in search engines, and no one else can buy your professional online domain by just using a different domain extension. If you don't want want to go on with your domain in one year, you can just let it expire (make sure to turn auto-renewal for this domain off as mentioned above).
