Hi,
I have not set up a website yet, because I am deciding which service to subscribe to. I am opening up a dance school and would like for students to register online from my website. Which service do I need? What is the monthly and/or yearly rate?

Hello Marissa,

An online registration facility is straight forward with Yola and you could use any of the packages available to do this. As a user I would recommend a paid for subscription and the cheapest of these is the Yola Bronze hosting. You can upgrade at any time to the higher hosting subscriptions. The cost outline is an annual hosting fee paid monthly if preferred and after the first year a recommended annual domain registration fee, which can only be paid annually. You don't have to worry about remembering to pay for either your hosting or domain as the default system is an auto deduction from your Credit Card if you authorise this.

Yola offer a free custom domain for the first year's registration. Thereafter you would pay an annual domain registration fee of approximately $12 currently, plus your hosting fee as mentioned

The pricing for the Yola packages are well displayed on their Pricing page. There are many add on features that aren't necessary to get a web-site up and going and can be added at a later time if you feel that they are needed.

The "registration" you mentioned doesn't require any additional service to get going. Basically clients would simply sign up on a form you place on a page within your site. This data is then sent to your email and you can also add the data to a spreadsheet or similar, automatically, for management purposes. This would reduce the hands on to some extent as your numbers grow. This registration doesn't include a web membership facility where they would log in to your site as a member. This could be done with a third party add-on if needed.
