Hey everyone, I love YOLA!!
Had a question. I need a registration/squeeze page so that when visitors go to my site they have to put in their name and email first so I can compile a mailing list. How do I do that? do I have my domain name forwarded to the squeeze page and then when they click submit does it go directly to my main page or what ever page I choose? Do I have to register another domain name for this to work because if I'm forwarding my domain name to the squeeze page and then after they submit their info, it goes to my main website I think I will have to have a different domain name for that site wont I?
Thanks, please email me at to let me know

Yola does not currently have an Entry/Squeeze Page feature; although if it is really important to you, you could create two sites, one site as a one page site and the "Entry Page" which you could then link to the main site.

If you would like to have a user fill out a form and submit it before they can get to a specific page on your site or another site this is possible! You will need to first set up a form using Wufoo, and then set the form to redirect to a specific url once it is submitted. It's important to note that Wufoo has both paid and free options, to do the form redirect to another url you need to have a paid subscription.

Adding a Wufoo Form:

You will find the Wufoo widget in the "Forms" folder in the Content sidebar in Yola.

After dragging and dropping a Wufoo widget onto your page in Yola, click on the link in the dialogue box. Then sign up for an account with them if you have not already done so.

Then follow these steps on Wufoo:

1. Select the form you wish to use.
2. Click on save form.
3. The form manager will open up.
4. Click on "Notifications" - enter your details as to where you wish the info to get sent to (ie. your email address).
5. Click on "Save".
6. Click on "Save settings"
7. Click on "Code"
8. Copy the code and then and paste it into the Wufoo widget dialogue box in Yola.

Your Wufoo form will then be embedded on your page and you can begin collecting information from your visitors directly from your website. When someone fills in your form their message will be stored in your Wufoo account and you will receive an email alert to let you know that you have a new message.

Redirecting the form to a url after submission:

This will be under the Form Settings Tab (with a paid subscription). Here is a link to the Wufoo support page which details the Form Settings.

I hope this will help!

Great info, but is there another way to get a lead capture page or squeeze page and not have to pay for it? Everyone cannot afford paid options. Thanks

Ho Tonia,

Have a look at Similar to Wufoo but this "redirect" is free.

This answers for the form page but not for a dramatic splash page to enter a site. Still no way to get one for free??! Seems bizarre that this is not a feature. I pay for SIlver membership and this seems a pretty basic request.

Hi Pollie,

Previously there was a survey taken on Splash pages and over-all it wasn't something that responders felt strongly about. In fact many were opposed but most were ambivalent simply supporting the option.

Nothing more has come about since that time.

I agree that there should be a basic splash page template available with no menu and no header. Been using yola exclusively for many years and would certainly appreciate a splash page template.
