My site is based around a social network feel. My blog page offers lots of information for gamers. I have managed to put most features that you would expect to find on one of these gaming sites. But the one major feature would be a related posts widget. Just like the recent posts widget, but I can't seem to find one.

What is the Yola blog actually called, i.e. wordress or blogger etc?

I have managed to put a slidedeck on my site and I am nearly there getting a site that has the required features.

Is there a related posts widget i haven't found, or are there any nice JQuery sliders that I could use?

Hi kade.mcc

The Yola Blog (just called "Yola Blog") comes standard with a "Recent Posts" widget. You will see this when you create a new blog page - click on Page > Add New Page and select "Blog" from the page type drop down list to add a new blog to your site. This is what is would look like:

I see that we have been helping you with JQuery slider on this thread. Which slider code have you been using? If you have not yet tried it, you can take a look at SVBuilder.

Hope this is helpful. Let us know if you need more assistance or have any questions.

Hi there, thanks for the reply :)

I have a Recent Posts widget already on my homepage. But I would like a related posts widget just like this. It could work easily as it would just use the tags that are put on each blog post.

I have been using Jquery.easing.1.3 if that's what you mean? Will SVBuilder help me created related post widgets or?

Hi kade

If you want to have a related post link, you can use the tags from the blog posts. If you click on the tags in the blog page, you will get the URL for the tag, which you can use as a related post link.

I think that the SVBuilder is mostly for graphics, so I am unsure of whether you can use it to make your widget.
