Removing borders around images when using the insert image button

I would like to know how to remove the black border around pictures and/or clip art when inserting one using the 'insert image' button (not the picture widget). It doesn't look very professional, or neat and clean, having black lines around clip art. If you use the picture widget, you cannot flow text around the image. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Becky

I have tested the pictures in Text Widgets on my site and I do not have a black border. Hmm... wonder why you are seeing it, unless it is around the clipart in the File Manager?

Can you please post a screen shot of your site so we can take a look at the problem for you?

Thank you
Nazlie

One more thing... for wrapping text around your pictures, you need to use the Text Widget as it does not work with a Picture Widget, as you have described. If you would like to use a Picture Widget instead of a Text Widget, one way you can do this is to drag and drop a Column Widget which you will find in the "Basics" section of the Widget Sidebar. Then add a Picture Widget in one column and a Text Widget in the other column.

Let us know if you need more help or have questions about this.

Hi Nazlie,

Yes, I know how to use the column widget with one side being text and the other side being a picture, but that does not give me the results I want. Attached is a screen shot of the page that I am working on.

Is there a way to add cells in Yola?

Thanks again for your help.

Hello Becky

I have fixed this up for you. To remove the border, you needed to add a border="0px" to your img src HTML code.

You will need to republish your site. I hope that helps!
