Hello Michelle,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. I have also replied to your email to support. I just tested renaming of pages and it is working. Can you tell me what happens when you try to rename your page? Do you get any error messages?

Hi Kershnee,

I don't get any error message. I just click on rename. Rename the page. Save and publish and it just doesn't change. I was having problems with the background changing too. I had to redo it 4 or 5 times before it actually took. Also, I have noticed when I go to site manager page to rename the pages, sometimes it says in the "your sites file storage" that I have used 0% of my storage or the file storage bar isn't there at all.

Thanks,
Michelle

Hi Michelle - Kershnee mentioned that you had sent an email to support too, so I'm not sure if she's help you there. Could we find out:
1. What browser you are using.
2. Which pages you are renaming an dwhat you renaming them to?

We'll also take a look at the storage issue but that could be a browser setting...

I'm just trying to rename two pages to put capitols where they need to be and remove the dashes in between the words. If you look at my site, you will see which pages I'm speaking of. I can't change them though cuss it won't save. Please verify what you mean by what browser I'm using. I'm not so fluent with the internet/computer lingo, but I'm learning fast! =)

Thanks,
Michelle

Hello Michelle

If you're trying to rename your pages in your Site Manager, the page will automatically revert to lowercase and will put in dashes where you have a space between your text. The reason why this occurs is because this will be the URL name for your page. URLS do not contain capital letters or spaces.

However, there is a way to rename your pages so that it comes up as you would like on your Navigation menu. Here are the steps:

1. Click the "Edit Navigation" button on the top toolbar.
2. A dialog box will open up with a list of all your pages. Click on the blue link that says "settings".
3. You will see two boxes that say "Navigation Text" and "Hover Text". Navigation Text is the name that appears in the navigation menu of your site. Hover Text is the text that pops up when someone moves their mouse pointer to one of the tabs in your navigation. Type in your desired text in those two boxes.
4. Click "OK" and your navigation will be updated with the changes you made.

I hope that helps!
