My website www.taym.biz expired and I have been trying to renew it since the end of May. I was getting re-directed to a site that says it is on auction and I must bid (minimum bid was something crazy like $90-$100) I have tried to send emails (since beginning June) to support@yola.com and premiersupport@networksolutions.com to urgently renew my site, but no one responds. Please can someone assist me as this is a running business and I need this address.

Hi Lee

I am sorry that you have not had a reply to your support requests. I did a look up on your account and I found that you had sent one email to us on the 5th of June, regarding this matter which was promptly replied to by a member of our staff. However, the email bounced back with a failure notice from your email provider. A further attempt was made to contact you but you never responded, so we can only assume that there was a permanent failure in the delivery of the email. This could be why you have not received a response from Network Solutions either and also why you may not have received your renewal reminders.

Can you please check on the email address you used to communicate with us and if possible send an email from another address to support@yola.com so we can make another attempt to assist you.

Hi Lee Ann,

Thanks for sharing these correspondences. It appears that a few of your emails were being sent to support@yola.co.za. Please make sure that all emails are sent to support@yola.com.

I see that your domain: taym.biz expired on 5-17-2011 and while we are able to recover it up to a month afterward, unfortunately there's nothing we can do to restore it at the moment.

It will go through a deletion process at the registrar, and then will be offered back up for purchase once it is available. Regardless of where you register your domain, the domain registrar only has a 30 day window in which to retrieve lapsed domains.

This is to protect users who let their domains lapse in error while still keeping the process moving forward to prepare domains for sale again.

Your only option at this stage is to wait for the domain to be released and then repurchase it. To do this, you will first need to unpublish your site.

Please keep an eye on our Domain Page to see when your domain becomes available again.

It seems your domain name has now been placed in the "redemption period".
Try searching the term for more. Here one explanation I found:
https://members.swcp.com/wiki/index.p...

Thinking out loud here...
Is it possible for Lee Ann to publish to a yolasite subdomain in the mean time, and somehow do a temporary redirect from taym.biz.

Hi Brianna
I have copy/pasted (see previous mail)the messages I sent in beginning June and you can see they were all sent to correct address (support@yola.com and premiersupport@networksolutions.com) not .co.za

Whatever the problem was , the bottom line is, I need this site up and running again as soon as possible please. How long will it take before it becomes available?

I don't know how to unpublish a site, so please can you do this and let me know the moment it becomes available so that I can pay the annual sub and republish again.

Can you also check if you received the 2 emails (see my message sent to Monique yesterday)

I appreciate your assistance.

Kind Regards, Lee Ann

Thank you Boomer for your input.

I have looked at your link and it helps me understand the process.

I did try and renew during the "Redemption Period", but got no response.

I need this site up and running again asap and hope that Yola can look at your redirect option.

Thanks again

Hello Lee,

Unfortunately, as your domain has expired on 2011-05-17, we have only a month after its expiration date to recover this. This means that you will need to wait until your domain is available for repurchase. This can take up to a few months. I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you.

You can check here to see if your domain is available to buy again.

It IS unfortunate Sanja. I cannot wait months, so I need the .yolasite back.

I tried to unpublish my site and the message I got said: that my .synthasite and.biz will be unpublished. I am worried if I proceed, that I might lose everything on my site?

I tried clicking on the subdomain change to yola but it says " saving your sub domain changes" and the computer seems to hang with an error on page message

Please can you tell me what to do?

Hello Lee,
Unpublishing will not cause any data loss on your site. We will need to manually add the synthasite.com subdomain back to your site if you would like to keep this as well as the yolasite.com subdomain. Would you like to keep both of those subdomains, and which one would you prefer to be the primary. I can then take care of this for you.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Thanks Emmy.

I don't know what you mean by subdomains/primary domains etc. My vocabulary in the website field is limited.

I just need one website for the public to access.
If I had to choose, .yolasite sounds better. (Easier on the tongue)

I would be happy if you could do this for me.

Kind Regards
Lee Ann

Thank you very much for taking care of this Emmy.

I can now notify my contacts of this change in address and amend all my promotional material. Not the ideal solution; but I understand - the best that can be done with the unfortunate situation.

I appreciate all the help in this regard.

Kind Regards
Lee Ann
