Renewal confusing, refund for overpay requested

I was just prompted a few days ago to renew my site for $23 which I did, and received a receipt. Now I have just received another YOLA email saying my site will expire and the renewal fee is $11.95. I would much rather have paid 11.95 vs. $23. Why the bait and switch? Please refund my the $11.05 that I have paid over.
I do not need the bronze update as there is no phone service that I can see.
Please respond immediately.
thank you,
Laurie Birdsall

Hi beautifulearthbags

I apologize for any confusion. However, both charges are correct and need to be settled. The $23, which you have already paid is for your hosting and the $11.95 is for your domain. In the past hosting and domain costs were combined. However, people found this confusing and it also disadvantaged customers who wished to buy multiple domains, so we have split them. We did send out emails to all our customers explaining this change and if for any reason you didn't receive it we apologize.

You originally paid $34.95 for your domain. Your renewal cost is still $34.95, however it is split into a $23 charge for hosting and a $11.95 charge for the domain. If you were to buy any additional domains they would be charged at the lower rate of $11.95.

I hope this clears things up. If you need any further assistance please let us know.
