Renewal fee shot up and inconsistent

I have renewed on 28 Dec for one year after having received an email from Yola. I paid $23 via Paypal but on the Domains page it still says my account will expire in July 2013. It shouldn't until 2014. I clicked the "Renew" button on that page and it took me to a payment page where the renewal cost is only $11.95 for a year. Now that I feel being ripped off because I renew early. I would like to first make sure that Yola has received my payment and my website won't disappear after July 2013. Second, you could keep me as a happy customer if you give me a refund for the difference between the amount I paid and the $11.95.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Jennifer,

The $11.95 is for your domain and the $23 would be for your hosting.

They are separate bills and separate due by dates.

Hi Jennifer,

I am sorry that you feel you are being ripped off by renewing early. I can assure you this is not the case, and further to Gop's response I would like to explain the structure of our billing, which has changed over the last couple of years since you last made a payment.

I have checked your account and I can confirm that you have renewed your Yola Bronze subscription for 1 year at $23.00. As Gop has mentioned we now offer separate billing for domains and hosting packages - this was introduced in 2011 so that we could reduce the cost of domains, which are now available from $11.95 per year. So this would be the amount that you see when you go to the "Renew" button on the Domains page.

Your Yola Bronze subscription is registered until 25 Feb 2014, and your domain is currently registered until 29 July 2013. You will be able to renew it for $11.95.

If you have a Yola Bronze subscription at $23.00, you can add as many domains as you like to this subscription from $11.95 each. This means that you don't have to pay $34.95 for each domain, as was the case in 2011.

Please note that the cost of $23.00 for Yola Bronze is available to existing customers for the first year, whereafter it will be $49.95 per year.
