I wish to include my friends' blog links (with their latest posts) on my website/ or my own blog. I have noticed that the only option is using Blogroll. However, what I have is just a link to their blogs while what I want is a display of their latest articles...What shall I do?

Hello Dana

I have just responded to you from support. I will post my reply here also.

Perhaps you'd want to add an RSS feed to your friend's blog? You can easily add an RSS feed to your site with a widget from our Widgetbox Gallery, this is how:

1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery Widget onto your page.
2. A dialog box will open, search for 'RSS' to see all the widgets available.
3. Choose the RSS feed you would like to use on your site.
4. Edit your settings to customize your widget.
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page.
6. Save and preview your page to view the widget.

Another suggestion is to use an RSS feed from one of these two sites:

http://grazr.com/

http://feed.mikle.com/en/

Then, drag over an HTML Widget and paste in the HTML code.

If you would like to create your own RSS manually - please click here to view a short tutorial - Creating an RSS feed for your site.

I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if it does not.

Thank You Sanja

Unfortunatley I could not find a widget that addresses my need in the Widget Gallery .
First link does not work (grazr) but I was able to use feed.mikle.com
However, I still have an issue as the RSS Title is Index and not my blog's title. How can I change that (Yola does not allow me to change Index title of teh page)?
I tried to build my own RSS using TucanMultimedia (as per yola tutorial) but what I do not understand is: Do I have to describe and give titles to my feed for every single article ? What happens after I post new articles? Do I have to create another RSS or changes will be taken authomatically? Many thanks!

Hello Dana

Thank you for your patience! I apologize that the grazr link did not work but am glad to hear that you are able to use the feed.mikle.com one instead.

Since you have the blog on your index page, this is why it's pulling that title. Unfortunately, there is not a way to change this. Unless you create a new blog page and re-create all your posts and use your index page as something else.

If you wish to create your own RSS, you will need to give titles for your feed - a description, I do not believe is necessary. However, it will need to be updated manually each time. This is a laborious way to do things. I'm sorry that I don't have an easier way for you to do this.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know.

Hi Dana

Can you please share with me the blog URL that you are using? It should look like this: http://mysite.com/blog-page.rss.

Where:
* mysite.com is replaced with your site URL
* blog-page with the page name of your blog

If you need any further assistance, please let me know.
