I know i asked this before but here goes. I have a text typing script that i believe requires adding to the head section for it to function properly. Is there anyway to add a typing script to my page without doing that?? I know i'm not allowed to edit your template to do that. Can i possibly send the code for you to look at?

Hi popeye

You are welcome to send the script, or better yet, send a link to where you got it from. If you have to add it to the head section of your page in order for it to function correctly, then it is not possible to do this with SynthaSite.

However, perhaps we can find an alternative.

I did send the script to help support. But it didn't help me. I got the script from an email group i belong to. I was able to edit and put in my text in my desktop html editor and it worked great, sound and all. by the way, It wasn't created with word.

I have investigated this matter, and it appears that one of our support staff have been helping you and are continuing to do so. They have an undertaking with you in this regard, as you are well aware. I think it is a little unfair of you to imply that you haven't had help from our support when in fact someone is currently working on your problem. It actually goes beyond the limits of our service to get HTML that you source elsewhere to work on your site. However, we like to help where we can. Please do not make us question the wisdom of going the second mile in this regard. . .

I don't know where you got that i said i wasn't getting help. What i did
say was is that it was in the hands of the support staff. And yes it hasn't
helped so far and i'm aware they will get back to me after the weekend. If
you took it to mean i was impying anything that's on your part. If you read
any other post and comments i've made i have said this was a great group of people. Continue to read my other posts, including the ones below.

You said; "I did send the script to help support. But it didn't help me." That was what threw me. Sorry if I misunderstood you. I do find you to be a positive contributor to our forum and I hope we will have a good solution for you soon with your script.

Me too. and sorry if there was any misinterpretation on either part. My wording may have been wrong but my intentions were true. I still say this is a great group of people and your response to me proves that. Again sorry i was at fault with my wording. I'm a happy camper again.

Sorry if i misled. There's no work around at this time. The script is in the hands of the staff trying to figure out why it doesn't work.

So I gather this application isn't possible?
I too have a script which needs to be placed between head codes.
It is a java script for disjointed rollover.
Any possible way to get this to work would be sooo greatly appreciated!!
One other question. Why isn't it possible to open and edit the page code?

Hi a2z,

Are you refering to the link I gave you the other day?
http://www.daxassist.com/js/disjointe...

I'm using the disjointed rollover at the moment, and
it works fine.

Just copy the code that's supposed to go in the
into an HTML widget on the top of you page.
Copy the rest of the code where you want your image to be
on your page. You gonna have to learn how to do an image
map. Just google "html image map"

Ok, I'm working from memory here so maybe I'm not
explaining very well. It's quite tricky but not that difficult actually
if that makes any sense. If you like I'll try do a mini tutorial
for you. May take a little time though.

Great to hear Boomer. Thanks for puting me on the right path.
I'll keep working it until I finally get it. Might not need the tut, But
they do come in handy sometimes.
