Hi Tienna,

There are many Yola sites that perform well in the search engines, but this has to do with time and effort that is put into search engine optimization (SEO); and not the site builder itself. The Yola Site Builder provides areas for adding Google Webmaster verification code, title description and keywords meta tags; as well as ways to optimize your text and images.

Yola has also put together a great deal of documentation to help you with SEO, here is what we have for you:

1. We have a series of short SEO Tutorials which will bring you through the various aspects of planning, building and promoting your site with SEO in mind. Here is a link: SEO Tutorials.

2. Verify your site with Google Webmaster and submit a sitemap: Google Webmaster Tutorial.

3. Each time you make a change to your site, you can Tweet the changes to your Twitter account. This is a great way to encourage more traffic to your site. Here is a link: Tweet your new site or your recent changes.

4. Watch a webinar on Introduction to SEO where we will bring you through the various ways to optimize your site in the Yola Site Builder. Here is a link:

5. Analyze your site traffic and how your visitors behave while on your site with Google Analytics. Here is a link: Google Analytics Tutorial.

Search engine optimization is something that takes time and effort, and is not a quick process; it's something that you will want to work on before, during and after you publish your website. Take your time going through these resources; we hope you find them helpful.

Hi tienna,

Read through and follow all of Kershnee's points above they will really help you out.

As far as your existing meta data goes you could make a few quick fixes:

1. add a few more keywords (about max 20) and always have all keywords in lower text spaced with commas.

2. change your description into normal cased text NOT CAPS.

If you only have 5 minutes today, set up steps 2,3 and 5 of Kershnee's points then do 1 and 4 when you have a bit more time to spare.

Good Luck - Hope you get indexed soon.

your site IS INDEED listed in Google... you just have to know two things... one is how to find your site in Google (merely searching a keyword isn't going to work, you could be on page 1 million), the other thing is to know how to get higher up the list with learning good SEO... here's your site in google

go to and search...

the "site" part of this search will tell google you're looking for your site only and nothing else... clicking the google link above will show you the results from searching this. I hope I helped! :)
