You can make your own. Just pick your favorite Yola layout. If the menu is on the side, then make one for the top, and vice versa. They're not too hard to figure out, I would consider one of two options, either use a menu building service for a nice menu (google it) or make your own, preferably using a bulleted list (in the code, but it won't look like a bulleted list - its a good technique to learn)

Hello Donald,

The bulleted list sounds very interesting. Do you have a reference for this to learn about it?

Hello Rafal,

You could add an html widget where you want the second menu and make links.

<a href="PageName.php">Page Name</a><br>
<a href="PageTwoName.php">Page Two Name</a><br>

Hello Rafal,

You can adjust the font color and size within the menu link of an html widget by:

<a href="PageName.php"><font color="#0066FF" size="14">Page Name </font></a>

Hi Rafal,

Good to hear from you! One other thing I've thought of since, if you don't want the links in the side menu to be underlined, the code could be written as follows:

<a href="pageone.php" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000; font-size: 14pt; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Page One</a><br>

<a href="pagetwo.php" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000; font-size: 14pt; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Page Two</a><br>

If you don't want to specify the font type or font size, just take out that part of the code.

Hello Rafal, Yes, in the code, take out the line breaks and replace it with space.
You may want to add more spaces.

<a href="pageone.php" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000; font-size: 14pt; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Page One</a> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

<a href="pagetwo.php" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000; font-size: 14pt; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Page Two</a> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Cristal,

I have horizontal menu now. How will I paste existing pages in there from the main menu? Do I have to change it inside the code?

Cristal,

I have change code so it's linked with the correct page, and it's also showing name of the page-easy, but now the question is how will I remove pages I have placed in the second menu from the first one?

Also I'm wondering if there is a way to implement the code so once you direct cursor on the page title it will be highlighted??

Hello Rafal,

To remove the pages from the first menu go to Page > Page Manager and click the Green Checkmark by the pages you want to remove.

What color do you want the links to be highlighted when the mouse hovers over the text?

I didn't realize it will work when I remove it this way ;) so easy...

Color could be orange...ffaa00

But I just check my website on preview yola builder and looks like it's showing only on the main page :(
Can it be made same as headbanner and main menu so it stays on all pages????

Hello, Unfortunately it won't be that easy to get it on all pages. Because it is not a template menu, you'll have to add the html widget on each page manually.

I'm still trying to get the background color to work. I tried it in a test site first before sending the code to you and the background color is being overridden by styling code elsewhere. I'll let you know when I get it to work..

Hello Rafal,

Here is a variation of the last post that works even better, the height of the highlighted text is better:

In the Edit Custom CSS, put:

a.item145:hover {
background-color:#ffaa00;
}

The code for the menu would be:

<a class="item145" href="pageone.php" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000; font-size: 14pt; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Page One</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

<a class="item145" href="pagetwo.php" style="text-decoration:none; color:#000000; font-size: 14pt; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Page Two</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Cristal,

First section:

In the Edit Custom CSS, put:

a.item145:hover {
background-color:#ffaa00;
}

Where exactly this should go as I think I'm trying to place it in the wrong place....

Hello,

Click Style > then click Edit Custom CSS. On the pop-up window uncheck the box on the bottom left that says "Disable Site CSS Overrides". Then in the white window on the left, past the code. If there is already code in that window, I would just paste it after that last item listed there.

... currently, non-IT management. Hopefully returning to more IT soon though. Lots of prior years with IT. You?

Hello,
Ok let me see what we've got...
I'll let you know if it works, Yola started playing, can't save changes, it's showing different options for saving when I'm moving from one to the other page. Then it says saved but it's what I've had before made changes.

So I'm running 3 companies at the moment, management (subcontracting for rail company ), damp-proofing ( web I'm working on now is for this business ) and third one is online shop ( very new business just started, so soon will be working on the next web ). Also I've started selling domains...but this is something new for me....

Hello Rafal,

I just tried to add an image below a side menu on a test site and I couldn't make it work within the limitations of the template.

Another possibility is adding the image to the background of the div (the side menu) with enough white space above the image that the image is properly positioned below the last menu item. Which template are you using?

Hello Rafal,

I've been trying to get the background image for that div on your template and it isn't working. Sorry about that.
