If you need support from Yola please contact us via email@example.com or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
I am a free user. I have several websites built using yola and I would love to have a picture spanning the entire page along the bottom of each page, above the yola logo. Is this possible? All I want is for the banner width to be duplicated across the bottom of my site..
Yola Free and Bronze don't offer a facility that allows you to force a placement in the footer area of the page, which is sort of what you have described.
The Silver subscription and the Gold do allow easy access to this area of the page with global placement of content.
You can still possibly approximate the placement on a per page basis. You can place your lower banner image as the last item of content. It depends on the Style you select as to how it will span and you may be able to force it a bit more by using the margin value set as a negative value. This pushes it outside the normal width of the content box but it has some risk being that it may push it too far out. For this reason setting negative margins is best tested in a test site. O)nce you have it worked out then you would need to ad this to each page of your site specifically.
You may like to consider upgrading to a Silver subscription as this allows fairly easy placement of objects into the footer area of a site.
