Hi Gypsy,

Love your site - i see Littleus has given you some great advice which you seem to be following well.

First thing that springs to my mind is - what area do you deliver to? I'm in Englad - will you post to me? I'm sure people who realise your selling in Australlia even think - im in Sydney for example, will she post to me? Also i would like to be re assured that the flowers will arrive well packaged and am i insured for damage? -- Some kind of visual posting map would work well - Its my wedding on Monday - todays Friday - will i get them on time? Think of every question a customer would have and answer it right there in front of them.

I would rather order through a form than a email request - its nice to have a email to confirm the order but i dont want to have to ask for what i want, a form would work great. (available through the editor)

You could add a 'favorite icon' a flower would work well - You can add them in the properties part of the content side bar (under where you add keywords etc.) - i have made you an example (see below) - if you want to use this image just right click it > save image as.

The site needs a SEO overhaul - i would suggest starting with aiming just at Australlia or your main market place - use these as keywords - the world flower market is to big to crack. Start by reading these tutorials http://www.yola.com/tutorials/intro-t... and look at the errors i found in the image below.

I can see this site doing really well - good luck. = Once this is all fixed you could get back to me and we could work on adding some fancy moving images and other visual tricks.

Lee.

favorite icon ( save the image then go here to convert it into a .ico file - http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon/ )

Hi Duke
I have made quite a few changes to my site thank you for all the fantastic ideas.
Would you mind having another look,
*I have made a link from flower pics to a more detailed description page and order form
*I have added a favorite icon pic however I dont know where this shows up
*I have added the delivery and australia suggestions &
*I have amended the meta tags
I am still working on giving each page an individual look with the script instead of all looking the same
Do you have any other suggestion to make this a more exciting page
Kind Regards
Gypsy

Hi Gypsy!

I saw you left a comment on my thread to look at your site. I decided to respond here. I hope that's okay.

1. I noticed on your homepage, your banner says "Gypsy's Wedding Flowers". Make sure you carry the apostrophe through out your site when using your name. Further down on your homepage, you have "Gypsys Wedding Flowers". It's not a big deal, minor things like that can detract from your site rather than add to it.

2. Your links. I'm wondering if it would be better to have your links across the top rather than vertically below your images? This way they are more accessible and more obvious that you have other pages. You could use your "WEDDING FLOWERS * BRIDAL BOUQUETS * BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS * FLOWER GIRL POSIES * BUTTONHOLES * TABLE CENTRE PIECES * CORSAGES *WEDDING ACCESSORIES" as a basis for your links. But, put this above your images.

3. Your images (not the thumbnails) - You should resize your images a bit smaller. You're only displaying them at 384x288, but your actual image size is 640x440. Your pages will load up much faster if you resize them to 384x288 and set the quality to about 80%. They'll still look great but speed up the loading time.

4. I'm going to use this as an example:

$120.00 CHAMPAGNE PACKAGE PINK & WHITE ROSES(S0001)

This beautiful wedding flower bridal bouquet package consists of:

1 x Bridal Posie/ 1 Buttonhole

2 x Bridesmaids Posies/ 2 Buttonholes

1 x Flower Girl Posie/ 1 Buttonhole

~ The $120 Champagne blah blah... line I think needs to stand out more from the rest of your text. Consider adding a color to this or perhaps bolding it or adding an underline.

~ I would suggest getting rid of the "x" after your numbers. This usually indicates how many times (1x = 1 time, 2x=2 times). I don't believe this is what you're trying to say. I would just say 1 Bridal Posie/1 Buttonhole (by the way, I would change that to Boutonniere - more formal that way) Also, I would differentiate between the boutonnieres. E.g. Groom's boutonniere, groomsmen boutonniere, ring bearer's boutonniere

5. Using this as an example:

To place your order please complete the links below and quote the amount of posies that is required and the item No (S0001) in the message box or

Email Gypsy at

Gypsysweddingflowers@yahoo.com

~ I would say "... complete the form below" - not links.

~ Change the No to something else. The way it is set up on your site, the "No" is on one line while the (S0001) in on another line. So, it looks like the word NO.. not number. Perhaps use "#" or use the word code.

~ I would put "Email Gypsy... and your email address" all on one line and put it together with the paragraph above.

6. Add the apostrophe before the "s" on Months.

7. Contact Page - it would benefit from streamlining this page a bit. There's just too much information for one page. I would keep your contact page as strictly your contact info. Then, for all your other links, set up another page that is specifically for your links.

Sorry for so much information here. I can be a bit nit-picky so please don't mind me.

I just wanted to add that you can see your favourite icon in the address box. Look beside your site url and you'll see the flower! =)
