Hi, when did I choose the www or without www for my domain ? I remember something about my selection. In my DNS settings I see below in order:

A entry with my IP

A entry with www and my IP

does this mean that rogersisconsulting.ca is my preferred address??

Hi RISC,

This is related to setting your canonical site. Which can be either www. or non-www.
Hi, yes I am trying to figure out which one is the preferred setting. I remember having a choice ? at some point.

In my DNS settings the A entry with no www is appears first, then the A entry with the www appears - does this mean the non-www is the preferred ?

Hi RISC.

The A entry is not related to the canonical from what I remember, simply a re-direction in a sense. The canonical setting, wherever it is, is the true answer I recall. Sorry I'm not specific at this time. I just have to find it.

I am researching this at the moment. It may take a while and I hope between the two of us we'll find the true answer.

I think it's somewhere in the Advanced settings but has been a while since doing it.

Hi RISC,

You can choose whether you want your canonical (primary) domain by logging into your Yola account and following these steps:

1) Press 'see all' next to the domain name that your site is published to
2) Below 'Include www prefix in address' select how you would like your domain to be displayed
3) Press 'change display'

If you are not seeing the change immediately, you may need to clear your cache. Please give this a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.
