I have been through the following tutorial and it seems to work on an iPhone. Your servers are given in the mail info received from Yola.

Why not? It seems pretty obvious that many people now access their mail from their smartphones. So to have iPhone, android, blackberry, and WindowsPhone instructions, (including how to get to the mail configuration screens) on your tutorials page is a no-brainer.

Seriously, do you want to have your paying customers searching forums for such basic instructions?

Hello Damian

Thank you for your feedback. I can assure you that we value our paying customers very much, and we'll take your suggestion into consideration. I agree that mobile devices have been becoming more and more important for managing e-mail accounts and accessing the internet in general.

While I hear what you say, please note that Yola Support is supposed to assist with requests about Yola and our products. That said, we're offerring a large number of tutorials and forum posts which actually deal with non-Yola products, such as the instructions for Google Webmaster, Google Analytics, using Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail etc. for Yola Mail, and many more. Both free and paying customers benefit from this. This is extra information provided by Yola, and I can tell you that it's a challenge to firstly provide a nearly complete list of all options out there and to secondly keep this kind of tutorials updated all the time.

When I set up Yola Mail on an iPhone for the first time myself, my first step was to go to the Apple Support pages (but I didn't even need it because Apple is so simple to set up) because I was needing help with the iPhone, not with Yola Mail. It would also help me with setting up more e-mail accounts I had. So when using external providers with Yola Products, your best bet will always be to browse their Support resources first, also because their Support documentation will most probably always be up to date. However, if you do need assistance with setting your email up with your phone, please let us know on the forum or via e-mail, and we will happily assist you with setting it up.

How do you set up the email on an android device?  I am pretty tech savvy but have had no luck and I do not want to pay Google $10/month when I am already paying you for the inbox.  What ports etc.  This is very frustrating and I am disappointed that there is such a lack of information.

Hello Amanda

I'm sorry to hear about your frustration. We do offer general instructions to set up Yola Mail on your android device.

Please try these basic steps. For more specific instructions, please contact your mobile provider or support for the specific make and model of the device.
  1. Go to the Email icon and add a new account.
  2. Select POP3 account.
  3. Enter your Username, Password, POP3 server and Port.
  4. Enter your outgoing SMTP server settings and Port.
  • Username: Your full email address -
  • Password: Your email password
  • POP3 server:
  • Incoming Port: 110
  • SMTP server:
  • Outgoing Port: 25
I hope that helps.
