Hello,

You would need to configure your A records. If you have already bought a domain somewhere else, you can use it to publish your site, and still host your site with us for free! However, first you will need to configure your domain name to point to Yola. You do this by creating A records (address record) to point to this IP address: "184.72.229.176".

We have a tutorial outlining the steps to configuring your domain: Publish to a domain you already own.

If you have any problems with this please let us know.

Yes, you would need to create two A Records. Apologies about the link, I have corrected it.

uh oh. For Co.CC DNS management,
Host:www.portalspace.co.cc CNAME value: ghs.google.com
Host: portalspace.co.cc A value: 184.72.229.176

That is all I can do. WHen I create another A Record
[portalspace.co.cc A value: 184.72.229.176] it says already in use.

I tried putting Host: as "@" or "www" but it changes to "@".portalspace.co.cc or "www".portalspace.co.cc

Hi SconZ,

I've tried to find information on the .co.cc website and can only find this: http://www.co.cc/faq/faq.php#p1 (which is not very informative).

There is an old thread on this link: http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/beg... that may help you (I'm not sure if .co.cc have changed their interface since then). Please note that our IP address has changed since that post.

Alternatively, I can only suggest that you contact .co.cc for assistance with pointing your domain to Yola.
