what's the right size to set a background image so it doesn't "repeat?" - I just want one image that will take up the whole screen

Hi Sruli-

By default, all background images that are uploaded will tile. If you upload one that is very large in pixel dimensions, it will seem to not tile, but in a large enough window, it will still in fact be tiling.

My best advice is this:
Rather than uploading a large image that fills the background without tiling, choose an image that tiles smoothly. For example, a small square of a solid color or a pattern, or a thin image that can fill across the page and appear as one image. I have also used some images as backgrounds that are somewhat large, knowing that they will tile, and have just looked to minimize how the edges will look when it repeats.

Here are some examples:

Good luck!
