If I transfer my domain to yola can I then setup email through you.

When I originally cam on and looked at your site I thought it said you could use the domain credit. I guess I was thinking that meant if I transfered it I could use your credit. I just asked the question about that. I think I'm super confused and I'm normally not easily confused.

I have the domain through Go Daddy. I loved the ease of your service so I decided to build the actual site with you, but I got the name before I found your service. So when I read about your Silver package I thought I could transfer the domain name and use the credit for that. I also thought I could then setup email through you as well.

Is there a way to delete the domain with godadddy then repurchase it through you?

I'd rather have everything under one place. I already have all of my office stationary, business cards, a bunch of banners, etc with the domain name on it. So If there is somehow an option for me.

Would I have to pay for hosting with godaddy if I just took the original name and had it re-directed to a new domain name? I could then slowly edit all of my stuff with the new website name.

Or any other options?

Hello Jennifer,

Thank you for your email. You can definitely set up email on your domain once it is transferred to Yola. Here is a tutorial that outlines all of the options for you: Creating email addresses.

I would suggest continuing the domain transfer to Yola. If you deleted the domain at GoDaddy, there is a chance that they would 'hold' that domain, making it unavailable to purchase through Yola.

If you transfer your domain to Yola, all of your services (domain, hosting, email, etc.) will be with Yola. You will not have to pay GoDaddy anything for this domain after the transfer has completed.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further assistance!

Ok, I had thought that in the info I was reading that I would have to set it up through Godaddy, or is that only if I point it to Yola. If I actually transfer it then I can use your email services.

Sorry if I'm only re-phrasing what you said I just have a honkin headache and I want to make sure I am totally understanding it.

Hi Jennifer,

You are correct. If you point your domain to Yola from GoDaddy, email needs to be set up on their end, though, if we become your registrar, you can surely set up email accounts with us!

Please do not worry about re-phrasing anything. I will gladly assist you with any further inquiries if needed.

Cheers!
