What type of success story are you looking for? Do you mean success with Yola's service? if so, you should probably ask this question over in Yola's GS community. Or do you mean something else?

Hi Amy. What I meant by "Success Story" is any achievement someone using Yola can be really proud of, personally or financially, or service wise. I am sorry if my query is at the wrong place. I am just an inquisitive newcomer. But as such I already have a lot of good personal things to say about using Yola from a Satisfaction point of view.
Regards.

I've had success at last with my Laurel and Hardy website built with Yola. I decided to promote it using Google Adwords and Within one week I received 10 DVD orders through Amazon as an affiliate.

I am very pleased with Yola and this is the first time I've actually earned some money from one of my websites!

It's taken many months of hard work to build my websites and start earning some cash from them. My tips for success are these;

1. Use Yola to build your sites - it's the easiest and cheapest option
2. Your site(s) should be only about something that you really have an interest in - don't just build a site simply to make money.
2. Sign up as an affiliate with Amazon - they do pay you!
3. Promote your site with Adwords - don't be scared of this. You can control your budget very easily.
4. Add Adsense ads to your site for more income - I've started earning a small income from this, too. It's not a lot at the moment, but the number of clicks from ads on my sites are increasing gradually. It took six months to receive my first click!
5. BE PATIENT! It takes a long time to get your site(s) established. Just keep adding more pages.

Finally, a BIG thank you to all the staff at Yola! You're awesome!

Thanks Marky for sharing your success story. Laurel and Hardy films were my favorites some 50 years ago. LOL!

Hi Monique,

I will take you up for your invitation. Although very recent, my first success story with Yola actually started with you, when you help me so nicely me to figure out some basic technical elements for starting my first website. Your reply was so prompt and efficient that from that point onward I knew I had real support from real people at Yola.

My overall Get Satisfaction with Yola turned out to be so pleasant and rewarding when I saw my first website "flying" on the internet. Although not a financial success yet, my success story came early as a personal experience.

A friend of mine just told me that website building at Yola is not only fun, but "addictive"!

Thank all!

Well my success story isn't like the movies, but I still thank Yola for everything!

Now that my site has been established and is showing up places over the web I have been getting more and more traffic. Even people playing on Xbox live are starting to r recognize me. So, I have made about $9 off my site. That's because of the three members that signed up for the elite membership. But, I have received over $6000 worth of gaming merchandise. I do not keep most of it and I'm not supposed to. About $5500 of merchandise goes to the members every year. I get about $500 and then have to pay some website costs (domain name and email). But I want to keep my site ad free, so no income there. So thats my story. I have Yola to thank for all my success. Without them I wouldn't have a website.

This is my story - im certainly not rich from my site, i make about $10 a week from advertising but my success story is my search engine ranking.

I have not advertised my site loacally but i have had over 50 businesses add there details just from search engine results alone.

The way Yola let you so easily add meta data and the help you get from this forum add's up to great SEO.

I have a google page rank of 3 and normally come up top if not near the top when searching for any specific business in my area.

I often beat huge websites, Yell and brtinfo and other national business directorys.

I really hope you also have a success story to tell 1 day too.

Hi Lee!

I can fully relate to your success story after having visited your website. It's simple yet so interesting and well built!

We somehow share together the importance of SEO; Gaining Page Rank and Top Page Visibility. Although new in website building, I also have quickly succeeded in these areas by using appropriate "Keywords", "Meta tags" and original Content. Like yourself, I often "beat" bigger, more sophisticated and older sites of the same, yet very competitive business.

I particularly liked your Contact page Lee, because I haven't yet learn how to make one like this which would be so useful on my site(s).

Thank you Lee for your very nice and inspiring success story which you have shared with us here at Yola.

Cheers!

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your kind comments, By the by, the contact form is done with formassembly.com but i have started using jotform.com on my newer sites... I feel formassembly forms look alittle better but jotform have some nice features like file uploads etc.

Check them out for yourself...

I also like the look of Formassembly's forms, but prefer the flexability of Jotform.
I therefore tried to make a crossover of the two. See here:
