We have a Yola Online Store (ecwid). We have created an extensive catalogue which we wish to use across multiple sites. We only want certain categories/products to appear on certain sites. How do we tell the system which categories to list on which sites?

Hi Paul,

Your solution is straight forward.

When you drop the online widget onto your sites you only select the categories wanted for specific sites. The others will remain in your store database but not be displayed.

The easiest way is to select one category per page. You can create a catalogue index on a separate page and this will allow users to simply browse the specific categories of interest.

If you need further clarification or other aspects, please let me know.

This solution doesn't quite work for me. I already have multiple categories and products listed on www.G-Hockey.com. When I create a new category (for a different site), it also shows up on www.G-Hockey.com. I can't find a way to disable this category for www.G-Hockey.com.

Ok.

I think what you are doing is selecting all the categories to display. You need only to select the relevant categories which are also in the drop down list.

Only your specifically selected categories should show in your display pages even though the other categories are available to select in the setup. These won't / shouldn't display in your live store

It's not working that way. We have 40-50 categories and sub-categories on www.G-Hockey.com and if we add a new category (for a different website) it always shows on the www.G-Hockey.com website. I suppose what I need is a way to remove a category from a site.
