Hi all,
despite the fact that building a site with yola is very easy, I'm stuck on a payment page right now. Basically I need a shopping cart and let the customers choose to pay on delivery, if they want to. Payment systems like paypal or google checkout don't provide this option because they make money on credit card transactions I guess.

I'm an IT but unfortunately I don't have programming skills.
Do you guys have a any suggestions for me ?

Thanks

Hi, you can visit http://www.paypal.com and create a shopping cart and then they give you all the HTML codes. Once you have all the codes, drag and drop a HTML widget where you want the view cart button to be and stuff. Then you probably can make another page and put the cart in there.

Also, you can do the same with Google Checkout!

Hope this helps

Hi vcnz

As Nathan has said, you will need to add the shopping cart with the embed codes that PayPal or Google Checkout provide.

You can see a step-by-step tutorial on how to add Google Checkout to your Yola site, in the tutorial section on our website.

Please let us know if you need more help with it.

Good luck!
Nazlie

PS: Nathan, thank you for helping out. Great job! :)

I do not think you will not find anyone willing to be responsible for the collection of funds for you that will do it do it for free.

Yeah, you are right! I think all companies take a little bit out of it. And, they deserve it. They are helping you so you don't have to program anything you just type in some words and credit card numbers and stuff and your done. And besides, i is not that much money they take out.

PayPal and Google are a little high but they offer something worth the extra cost ....I never see credit card information and that means I do not have to have it stored on my computer or pay for extra precautions to prevent hackers from getting the credit information of my customers......I think in the PayPal paid service you can add the COD shipping option. That costs an additional $8.50 USD and they no longer accept currency....You can accept only cashiers checks or money orders but those are so easily faked now I would never do it myself .

Thanks for your replies. Since I'm in The Netherlands the Google Checkout is not an option for me (currently available only in US and UK).
I'm trying to setup a Paypal cart. I already have a personal Paypal account.

I would like customers can pay without having a Paypal account, so just using their credit card details. I guess I have to upgrade my paypal account to a Premier account. I'm trying to figure it out now.

They do not need to join PayPal to use their credit cards...PayPal changed that a few years ago.....Unless it is different where you are than in the USA.....I don't use their premier service .
