I've recently made my on website due to yola which is class but the only problem and idea is that I've added my products to the pages I need but it doesn't add to cart it goes straight to Paypal soon as they press buy now button which really people should be able to press buy button and add to cart then when they goto cart they can then goto checkout and pay via paypal or other options also the other problem is that when they press the buy now button as well as the checkout and cart problem there is no delivery option part so I cannot charge them I've had to add a page saying delivery so that they have to manual add delivery which is a pain and unprofessional this matter really needs sorting ok thank you

Hello Azuzas,

This is the normal outcome for a "Single Product" PayPal widget, one of the options in the e-commerce widgets. If you select the "Product Catalogue" widget you will be able to add multiple items to a cart and then check-out when required.

That's strange as the "Buy now" button that you describe is only associated with Single Product whereas Product catalogue items displays an "Add to Cart" button. Maybe you could tell us your web-site address and we can check to see if there's anything obvious.

Delivery options are not available through these button widgets on Yola you would need to use the product as listed on the PayPal site to be able to vary shipping.

Another option is to use an e-com system like ecwid.com which gives you an easily configured shopping cart with many options.

Hello Azuzas,

Please do share your URL so that we can have a look at the issue. If you wish to add delivery charges, please have a look at this tutorial: How do I include shipping costs.

This solution only works if your shipping charges are constant. It doesn't accommodate different destinations. You would need to set up different products for all the intended shipping destinations to be able to cover the shipping costs. It does work well if you have just the one shipping cost.
Looking forward to the promised December e-com release.

Hi Gop,

I just wanted to let you know that in terms of the new eCommerce widget release, this has been pushed back. We were hoping to have this released before the end of the year but we need to do a bit more work on this as we want to be sure that we've addressed all the bugs. Instead, we'll have something to anticipate for the new year!
