MY 10 YR OLD SON CREATED A SITE BUT DIDNT SAVE. WHEN RETREIVED FROM FAVES THERE WAS NOTHING THERE. HOW IN SIMPLE TERMS SHOULD HE SAVE ?

Hi SemaJ10,

To save a page, all you need to do is click on the "Save" button. Here is a screenshot to illustrate this:



Also, this is how you know whether your page needs to save or not: At the top of your page, there is the word 'Page' and a drop-down menu to access other pages in your site. If you have unsaved changes, the icon next to the page (a picture of a page) will have a red dot on it. If you press Save, it will change and the red dot will disappear.

Hi Semaj10,

Saving your work with Yola is really easy... Just clcik 'save' (see image below).

And then after your happy with the site in the builder you can click 'update my site' which will save the site in a live state on the internet.

NOTE:

You have to be 13 to make websites with Yola... However if the account is in your name and you are happy with your 10 year old making websites this is thought of as acceptable with Yola... just please explain to your child the potential dangers of websites and insure that they dont add any personal details on the live site.
