I have been updating my site frequently today not more than usual though. Just recently when I decided to publish my site with the new updates. (as I have done many times before) it will not let me use my personal domain name that I have used with yola since I made the website (http://www.ellemusiclive.com). I figured it was strange and so I unpublished my site and then REPUBLISHED it again. Now it tells me that my domain is pointing to Yola BUT it takes me to a payment screen to pay for a TRANSFER? Since when does it cost for me to point my own domain name to Yola? I have had my website for a very long time and never experienced this can someone tell me what the heck is going on?

Hi ElleC,

We have recently removed the ability to point a domain for free accounts, however if you had your site published to a domain that was pointed already, this should have stayed in place for you. Can you please send an email to suppport@yola.com and we can assist further with getting this worked out.

Thanks,
Emmy
