Currently my backgrounds have been disabled and I am unable to edit certain pages of my site. Text boxes appear but I am unable to type anything into the boxes.

Did this happen when Yola rolled out the new banner/background options?

If i change my site style the same thing happens - it shows as banners and backgrounds are disabled.

The tech team at Yola put it down to custom CSS in my site... do you have any custom CSS?

Lee.

Forgive me but I am not extreamly tech savy and I am not sure what CSS is but when I changed to a layout without banners everything returns to normal. The backgrounds were in HTML format that I copied and pasted and they worked fine until a few days ago.

What style are you using?

So you were adding custom HTML code to apply the backgrounds and now that only works if you choose a site style wihich has no banner images?

The best way to add banners and backrounds with the new changes is here:

Hi Suga,

Can you take a look at this thread, please? http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/css...

Does this sound like what you did on your site?

If so, please contact us on support@yola.com so that we can work through the options available for correcting this as quickly and easily as possible.

Suga,

By the way CSS is like HTML code but its a peice of code (written in a different language to html) which effects the way html looks on the page - you will beable to spot it because its wrapped in tags like this
CODE HERE

If you leave your URL we could quickly check if this was the culpret.

Or email Yola support.

Lee.
