I have a domain that I purchased from You that is a .ca domain that resides somewhere in the U.S. In the last couple of weeks my site has been attacked by someone in Seattle who is using amazon.com.inc I just noticed other cities in the U.S. as well that are are from the same domain amazonaws.com with service provider or amazon.com.inc.

This is a Canadian site so I should not and do not get many U.S. visitors - all of the bogus traffic is coming from the U.S.

I am greatly concerned as I am waiting any day for them to take it down as they are flooding it - I have had over 233 hits today and had similar a couple weeks ago when I posted something but didn't see it as a problem then ....now it is ongoing and it is a problem, not a question any more. If I should send this to support directly let me know....I wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue.

This is my business site and I am concerned about the safety. I have downloaded google analytics for that time frame but is in PDF so can not upload to this site as it requires and image.

Can you please advise me if there is anything that can be done. It isn't just the main page - it has almost gone through every page in my site. I have read on here where there were others that had sites that were taken down and I am concerned as I have ecommerce on here and I rely on this site for my business.

Hello Karen,

The only reason your site would be taken down is if you violated the Yola terms of service and I can't see from anything you have mentioned that this would be the case.

Your site is very secure in the Yola environment and is unlikely to be hacked. Traffic numbers are not a reason for pulling your site and as you say the numbers are in the low hundreds which isn't a drain on the Yola servers by any means.

If someone is ripping off your site content and re-publishing the information then this could be a violation of your copyright and if so then you can direct that such a site be taken down.
