Hi rjk,

This suggests that there is some invalid code on the page. Suggest that you remove the latest code an just try saving again. If this still doesn;t save then it indicates that there is other invalid code on your site. The appearance of the non-saving error can be delayed so it may well be very old code.

If removal of the new code corrects the issue then this suggests either Yola sitebuilder incompatible code or more likely incomplete copying and pasting of the code onto your site.

With regards to mein own blog, know, I seem to be experiencing the same sort of delays in the timely publication of content--even allowing for an edit in the title to correct a minor spelling error in the titling of my blog post.

Even hitting the "refresh" button in the browser (in my own case, Mozilla Firefox 24.0 in WindowsXP, should you need this for server debugging) still causes prolonged delays in timeliness.

Have you considered checking the Server Error Logs for possible helpful cluedos as might explain this?

Hello Exaggerator,

Delays in publication to live availability is a little variable. The sub-domain sites seem to be delayed more than custom domains. I just did a trial on my custom domain and the update was normal. It may also depend on the type of content update you are adding. Images can take upto 5 minutes to update (worse case).

The description of the error that rjk is describing is a non-acceptance of the update when they click publish, the circle icon circling forever is generally an indication that there is some failed code on the site in the sitebuilder itself. . This precedes the possibility of inspecting the upated live site. It's not likely to be the same issue although it could be related I guess.

Thanks for the link to your site....cute.

Your site has a lot of content per page and lots of images and this can slow down loading and updating, depending on file sizes. I could see your home page within a couple of seconds although the full availability indicator still was active for about 45 seconds. I couldn't see what was holding it up specifically.

Thanks.
I had just put some banners on our products page and the format was Javascript.
I have removed them and changed them to HTML and now all seems to work well again.
Also, I made the mistake of copy and paste direct.
When I re-did it I copied to notepad and then to site builder.
