After toiling for days upon days, my site is finally finished! I would really love for you to take a look and tell me what you think. It's just a personal blogging site for me. There are a few things I'd love for you to check out for me:

1. Is my site visually pleasing? Can you check to see that nothing is misaligned or out of whack?
2. Are my buttons working?
3. Are my pages working?
4. Can you leave a message in the guestbook so that I can see that it's working?
5. How does it look in different browsers - any issues that come up?

Thank you all who worked alongside me - providing me with your expertise to help get my site running.

Please do leave me suggestions. Thanks!

the comment boxs are nice - all content shows fine - i dont think you need a paragraph about page load speeds - we have 32mb in UK it loads real fast.
Maybe you could add favorite icons? any image which looks ok small will do - to add them first clcik an empty part of the page then in the side bar , goto properites- favorite icon.

Thanks Lee for your comments. I had planned to do a favicon but just haven't had time to do so. I was more concerned with making sure that my content was okay before embellishing on other things. Now that my content is okay... I will focus on adding a favicon.

As for the page load speeds, the reason I put that in is because some of my readers (the gramas and grampas of my children) have slower computers. Just a little note to them that their computer is working fine and that it just might take a little more time than usual. =)

Hey Littleus,
I was specifically interested in how your blog turned out as this was a source of hard work for you over the last few days... looks GREAT! I see you were able to get all of the posts looking uniform.

The rest of the site looks lovely as well. Congratulations, job well done!

Littleus,

I've watched your pages grow from early moments.

I've always really loved your site. I've never looked at it with critical eyes simply because of the joy of the content and the atmosphere surrounding the family. It's sort of like criticising a family and a mother: sacrosanct! :)

I will take a few moments to really review it for you and come back here.

Hello Littleus,

Your site is great.

There are no issues with function or layout at all. You have captured an atmosphere and it's consistent. The stories flow well and are interesting, the use of photos to tell the story is very clever. The blog is a cretion of love and endurance. Well done

It will be interesting for you to hear the families perspective. I hope that they tell you what they like, what they would like to see whether they have any difficulties understanding navigation. In a real sense they are the most relevant critics of your site.

I hope that you can maintain the energy in adding new stuff both in content and innovation. Your site allows for development at a very easy pace and things that I would consider are communication facilities such as a chatbox. Possibly private or maybe moderated so that you can select what comments are public and the rest private. Add to this podcasts to allow for your children to build a journal. These can be kept as a simple list for your friends and family to select and hear and they are easy to create.

I haven't come across technology for children's web but I wonder if there's anything?

Please let us know if you add anything new. I'm sure you have many interested followers here.

Good luck of course.

Thanks Peter for your words of encouragement and positive comments. I'm not sure if I will have many readers nor is that really my intent. I mainly created this so that my family and my hubby's family will be able to keep in touch with what's going on in my children's lives. I thought this would be an great way to do so. My girls are always getting into something.. so at least I don't have to worry about running out of stuff to say! =) I always aim to change my site's look every month or two to keep it fresh but the content will remain the same. I don't know if I'll add too much more as I don't want to clutter my site with nonsensical stuff. I'll continue to keep my eyes out for things that would serve to improve my site and continue LEARNING, LEARNING, LEARNING!

Thanks once again for your help!
