Site makeover!

Greetings Yola world! I am planning a fairly major revamp to my site ( new editor to try out!) and I dont wish to publish any of the changes until they are completed. At the same time, I still need to keep the old site updated whilst I work on the changes, as to not appear as though I am neglecting it. My question is this; can I make an all new site, whilst leaving the old one published to the web, then have my domain name ( www.darksydepresents.com) transfered to the new accout, effectively replacing the old site with the new with the transfer? As far as I figure, this would be the easiest way to implement such a huge change without revealing said changes gradually, and still maintaining my web presence, so just wondering if it was an option. Thanx team, and keep up the good work!!

Hey Kurt,

I did answer this question on your Facebook post, but will re-iterate on this thread. There are two ways to create a new site, please follow one of these steps to get started:

1. Login to your account. On the My Sites page, click on the "Create New Site" link.
2. From the Sitebuilder, click on the Site Manager tab and click on the "Create a New Site" button.

Since you have a Yola purchased domain, when you are ready to publish your new site, simply unpublish your old site which will free up your domain, and go forth to publish your new site. You can do this by pressing the green "Publish to the Web" button. Here are further instructions if needed: Publishing your Site.

Cheers,
Brianna
