We have recently moved our site www.filipinocooking.net from Yola.com to wordpress using inmotion.com for hosting. Yola does not have the capabilities to ftp the site, so it was necessary to rebuild the site from scratch. Having done this, our url structure for each of our posts changed. For example they were no longer http://www.filipinocooking.net/pork-r... but rather http://www.filipinocooking.net/recipe... Inmotion was very helpful in this transion in terms of the coding in wordpress to make it funcion successfully. We did 301 redirects for most of the urls, but to this date we have lost all of our positions in Google. I’m just wondering if anybody can answer the qestion regarding this loss, or if anybody has had a similar situation.

Hi david,

I'm sorry to hear that, but unfortunately that is to be expected. It can take up to a few months for Google to locate your new urls. Once that occurs, your rankings should begin to improve.
