Yep, same here, very slow to load or timing out. This has been going on for a few days but today it's the worst it's been so far.
Is this just affecting UK sites or across the board?

Come on Yola, we know you're better than this.

I think yola should start offering some sort of premium hosting service (I'd be willing to pay extra) because to be honest i think that loading times are really slow most of the times.

This is a joke now though.

This is happening for everyone. I have a had many posts on our forums about how slow the website is loading, from people even in the US.

I did in fact report this over 24 hours ago, if yola say that they have not fixed the issue before now because of working hours i will be appalled. Does the internet have working hours really? That's what i thought.

I'm quite happy to cut Yola some slack, it was New Years day yesterday, the internet isn't an emergency service after all Leon.

Normally they're pretty much on the ball.
The servers seemingly need a refresh as the outage is intermittent.

Well I'm glad you're in such a nice mood, myself... I'm not. Their customer service is incredibly slow. But you just think if all the internet went down... the internet is a 24/7 service and should be treated like a 24/7 service.

Each to their own Leon, i've just usually found Yola to be on the ball. I'm pretty sure someone will be along shortly with a reason for the outage.

I've not come across one server service that's 100% or even guarantees it.
Ces't la vie.

Yea, i understand. They state their uptime to be 99.9%

'99.9% Uptime

With Yola’s 99.9% uptime, you can rest assured that your website will always be available to your customers. Yola works hard so you don’t have to.'

Like you stated, im sure we will get a response soon.

Leon, just a heads up, if you want your site to load faster, downscale the size of the picture files on your site, Your header is nearly half a meg. The other two images add up to nearly another half a meg.

You should be able to compress those to about 75kb easily without losing hardly any resolution with the subject matter in the images.

This is why your header "Scrolls" when it's loading, hope this helps.

well it actually loads pretty fast for the size of it, when the network and/or servers are running okay :P

Also, what do you mean by the header scrolls?

It loads slowly on the "first" load, It "scrolls" as it loads, it would load very fast if you reduced the file size.

You're obviously an expert so i'll leave you to it.

I understand you're saying it loads slowly, but actually its normally barely over 1.2 seconds when everything behind the website itself is working.
I'll see about those images ;)
