Hello,
Every page of my site is loading extremely slow... it takes forever to get between pages. Also, as soon as I get to pages that are tier 4 index>articles>fishing articles>walleye articles the nav. bar starts changing color. Any ideas... www.e-learnabout.com
Thanks for any help!

Hi Jason,

I quickly went through all of the pages from the menu on your site and they all loaded very quickly for me. Could you let me know which pages of your site have the problem and if you're still experiencing the slow page loading?

Hi Marije,
I have the problem when trying to load the homepage it sometimes just shows up blank. When the homepage loads slowly the whole site loads slow. Other times it seems to work pretty quickly. I just tried it and this is what I get:
The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
The website is under maintenance.
The website has a programming error.

What you can try:
Refresh the page.

Go back to the previous page.

More information

This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

Hey Marije

Sadly I have been going through the same thing on not only my site but other sites as well. It's real odd in that one moment it loads real slow and sometimes has server issues then for hours it is just fine. It has been doing this for over 24 hours or so. Another odd thing is that it's like a rolling problem in that some pages load fine and others don't... Odd

It's been fine for most of the day but I wanted to let you know that Jason may be experiencing what I as well as others have been lately.

Might be something to keep an eye out for...

Hope your weekend went well

Hey, I am having the same problem as everyone else. My pages load extremely slow and sometimes the front page's content does not load, just the header. Can someone please check it out? www.venturestrips.com

Hi Simon,

There are a few things that I can pick up with your home page and they're quite easy to fix.

1. Your images take longer than usual to load - this could be because they have a large file size. You can fix this either on your computer with a picture editor and then reupload it to the File Manager and readd it to your page. Or if you open the File Manager, select the pic and click on 'Edit' - this will take you to Picnik where you can change the size.

2. Did you copy and paste some of the text from a Word Doc? Doing this can bring hidden formatting (and in your case, possible loading) issues and we recommend that you first paste the text into something like Notepad and then copy and paste it into your text widget. We apologise for this, but it's a common problem with pasting text from Word onto web-based applications and something that we're working on fixing! To fix this, re-add the text, following the steps above. Republish your site.

If you could try the two steps and please come back to us if it doesn't work?
