Hi I'm new to this but I think I've created a web page. I have site protected it but does that inhibit access to anyone web browsing from opening it up. The only reason I installed a site login and password was to reduce the possibility of illicit alterations to the web page content. Please advise. Thanks

Hi Paul,

The only way that people can make changes to your website is if you give them the email address and password that you use when you log in to SynthaSite to edit your site. People cannot make changes on your published site.

However, if you place password protection on your pages, then only people who have the password will be able to view your site. This will naturally inhibit anyone who is browsing from opening and viewing your site.

I hope this answers your question, if there's anything I haven't covered, please let me know.
