Hello kracksmack,

Wow, very nice site! Very clean and easy to navigate. One suggestion I have would be to separate your home page content into a few pages as it is very long. Here is some information on Creating Sub-Pages that you may find helpful.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Thanks Emmy.
I'll split the homepage.
Also, I want to know how I could choose a different font than the ones in sitebuilder?

You can change the font of text in a text widget by highlighting the text and choosing a different font from the Edit Toolbar. I will attach a screen shot.

But I have this another font in '.ttf' file that I would like to use. Is there any workaround available?

Thank you

I'm sorry, but that isn't possible at this time. I hope you will be able to find a font that works for you.

Hello kracksmack,

if it's important to you there is a workaround for displaying other fonts. You can make an image of the dialogue and then paste it on your page through the images facilities.

If it's speech bubbles etc then you would have to compile the complete frame with text make the total image then apply this to your page.

If this content is considerable and important content for search engines then this becomes a problem as the search engine doesn't read the text within an image. You could push it by applying "alt text" or simply naming your images with the complete dialogue.

A lot of work but maybe worth considering.

Hi kracksmack

Thanks for posting your url! It sure brought back memories of days gone by when I would just spend hours reading Calvin & Hobbes. I still have my comic books!

Here are my suggestions:

1. I noticed that I immediately am on your quotes page. It may be of benefit to do an intro page as your homepage. Have a comic strip image and explain what the purpose of your site is.

2. I would agree with Emmy that the quote page needs to broken up a bit by doing sub-pages. It is quite long. I don't know who says the quotes - are they all by Calvin? If not, then, perhaps you could break up the content as they relate to the character? Perhaps you could add an image or two to this page to help bring in some visual aspect?

3. Perhaps on the long pages, you could put in an anchor tag so that when the reader reaches at bottom of the page, you could have a "return to top" button instead of having the reader scroll all the way back up to the top.

I think you have a great start on your website. It does look very clean and easy to navigate. These suggestions are merely ideas and please do what you think is best for your site. I wish you the best of luck with this venture.
