Before crackedice.com can show your Yola site you need to point the domain to Yola's IP-- 184.72.229.176. You can make this change in your Go Daddy account via the Zone File Editor.

Log in to your Account Manager.
Next to Domains, click Launch.
Click the domain name you want to update, and, in the DNS Manager section, click Launch.
In the A (Host) section, click the A record you want to edit.
Edit the A record for @:

Host — Enter the host name the A record links to. Type @ to map the record directly to your domain name, including the www.
Points to — Enter the IP address 184.72.229.176.
TTL — Select how long the server should cache the information.
Click Save Zone File, and then click OK.

This information was found from this guide: https://www.yola.com/tutorials/articl...

It's definitely registered through GoDaddy Daniel:

Wondering if the name is a variation of crackedice or is of another domain type?

I can assure you i did not register it with go daddy. I have been using cracked-ice.com, which i registered with yola, in the past and 2 days ago i saw that crackedice.com, which is the domain i first wanted, was available so i jumped on it and bought the domain with yola. before i bought it i did notice the go daddy page was on there but i thought they just had it on there since one of there customers ended there service, and i thought it would go away after i published my site to it. right now i have crackedice.com set as my primary domain with cracked-ice.com forwarding to it since i already bought a year of service with it 6 months ago, if i go to cracked-ice.com it will forward it to crackedice.com and it will work fine which has me coonfused.

Did you purchase the domain registration for crackedice.com? Because the WhoIs shows it is registered through Go Daddy by Frank Halper.

Hi Mike,

it looks as if he has purchased cackedice.com and not crackedice.com. You can see the domain in the address bar.

It's not a unique observation is it Mike? i bet you see a lot of cases or situations where there's a simple slip and then you see what you want to see.

You are exactly right. One small mistype-- be it extra letter, forgotten letter or two letters in the wrong order-- and you can stare at it for hours and never see it. The same goes for IP addresses!

Hello Yaro,

Yola is a website building company. Are you wanting to build a site with Yola and then use your custom domain from Go Daddy with that site? You can create a Yola site here: http://yola.com. In order to use a custom domain from Go Daddy, you will need to purchase a hosting subscription. We offer a few different kinds. You can check out what each package offers on our pricing page.

I hope that clears up the confusion. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Hello Yaro

If you bought your domain with GoDaddy and you'd like to publish your Yola website to it, you can use domain pointing. In order to make use of this option, you'll need to subscribe to one of our paid packages, Yola Bronze, Yola Silver, or Yola Gold.

Once this is the case, please follow the steps in our tutorial Publish to a domain you already own. If you need any help for configuring your domain in your GoDaddy account correctly, please contact their Support for assistance.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hi Yaro,

That would be all you need to publish your website with Yola, but you will need to go to GoDaddy to determine why your website isn't published as they are your service provider. This forum is for Yola customers which is why all the information we have provided is about how to publish a website using Yola. Best of luck to you!

so i called Go Daddy and figured it out. like i mentioned in my earlier post i have both hosting and domain through Go Daddy. i just had to move all my folders into the public folder verses its own folder. Once i did that it went live automatically on the web.
