Hi squirrel,

You've done all the correct correction procedures.

May I ask if in fact you can open your site in the builder?

If you can then I'm thinking that Yola are doing some heavy work on the builder at this time. Maybe worth your while trying later. if this is a long term effect then I don't have any suggestions.

Hey, thank you, I can open my site up in the builder but I found out now its only the index page that won't let me save and all the other pages will let me. I really need to edit though because I have people that expect me to edit my site and I have requests so this needs to be URGENT!!! I have waited a day and its still not working, and I tried calling Yola but unfortunately their closed on the weekends, but I did try emailing them so I'm waiting for their help!
Thanks anyways!

If you want me to have a look at your index page tell me your site name and I may be able to see what's going on.

The other way is the shotgun approach:

On your previously published site if your take a screen shot that will act as a map for you to rebuild your index page.

To get the code of the index page righ click yyour mouse on any blank part of the page and an option in the list will be to view the code.

You can copy all of this into a word-processor to begin with as it allows the best layout of this code.

The next step would be to create a new page and build it like your original index page. You just need to be careful with what you add but I may be able to see what has caused the problem.

When you get enough stuff in it and not necesssarily all go back to your page manager and delete the index page. It will prompt you for a new index page which would be the page I was advising you to create.

That done you should be back on track.

An index page typically strikes out because of text that has been copied from a formatted document or maybe another website even. It can also happen with some code but commonly by adding code and overlooking a close tag or similar.

Typically an index page going wrong will break your entire site so I think that you are lucky. It's worthwhile getting rid of it asap it can have a viral effect depending on the cause.

No I'm not really young I am exactly 13 which I call myself a kid. Also if I copied and pasted the codes of the scrolling affiliates and everything around that code into a document then I deleted the widgets but the the problem is my site still won't save so if I refreshed the home page the widgets would still be up there. Could you take a screen shot of what you are talking about because I can't find any "white space where it justs says < a"

Oh i know what you are talking about now, thats just a scrolling html code box where you paste the html code you want to show everyone. If you know what affiliates are which I'm guessing you do, but thats the code for my affiliate banner, and its a scrolling text box so you can scroll down further and see the whole code

If I try to remove codes it won't save so the code just pops out again when I refresh the page

Hey Gop, I'm just going to do what you said...well kinda, so I going to make a new page in my site and delete the home page and only keep some of the codes and I'll see if that will work
