Hi Lisa,

Yola generates a .xml sitemap for you automatically. If you would like, you can find the instructions for how to submit this to Google in this tutorial: Google Webmaster Tutorial.

The URL of your sitemap is http://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml. (Replace "yourdomain.com" with your own domain name.)

Hope this helps!

Thanks Emmy. My question is about putting the sitemap as a page on my website for those who visit to benefit from. Can that be done?

Hi Lisa,
Unfortunately it's not possible to put it as it is on your site as a page, but you could manually create a sitemap page by creating text links to all your sites pages. Here is a link to a tutorial with more information on creating links: Tutorial: Creating Links.

I hope this helps!

Not to be automatically updated... but... you can do it yourself. I had a very extensive one (about 400 pages listed in my sitemap - so big I had to divide the sitemap into 5 pages) until I recently downsized it and thinking about doing away with it, but it's very possible. It's not that big of a deal if you update it after every page. If you wait til several pages are done, you might get lost trying to update it.

Make it simplified, use bullets and increase a bullet everytime you want one page to indicate it's linked from the previous listed page.
