I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty uploading files. Can you tell me what format the file is in that you are trying to upload, and what happens when you try to upload it?

I believe it is html. but I can probably generate a sitemap to a file that would be easier for synthasite (if that is not the easiest).

Here is how to add a sitemap to your site:
1) Create a Site map
Go to your published website. Go to each one of your published pages, and copy and paste the URL for each of your pages as a separate row into a new .txt document, as in example below.
http://mynewsite.synthasite.com/index...
http://mynewsite.synthasite.com/page1...
http://mynewsite.synthasite.com/page2...
2) Upload a site map (TO YOUR SITE)
Save the file, then upload it to your SynthaSite website, using the file manager. Save and publish your site.
Let me know if this works for you.

No, I'm afraid not - I still can't get explicit instruction for WHERE to upload the sitemap to. I used The File Manager but it is still not being recognized. HOW do I upload the site map? Thanks awfully, Dawn

Hi popeye - that sitemap was added by the owner of the site, you can always ask them how they did it!

Thank you, but I do not think this will add any extra pages like I was hoping.
lets say the home page is www.something.com, I was hoping to get extra pages such as www.something.com/something, but without having it on the side bar with the rest of the pages.
Not sure if this makes sense to you, but Thank you.

Yes that makes perfect sense. I am sorry, I totally misunderstood what you were trying to do!
All you need to do to add extra pages is click on the "New Page" button. A dialog box will open up that will prompt you to give your page a name. You will also have the option of whether or not to include this page in the menu. Uncheck the "include in menu" box if you don't want the page to appear in your menu.
