I've been checking out the Yola link to, 'Sites made by Yola.'

These are amazing, but are you saying these we're made using the just the styles available on Yola?

Or, are these highly modified CSS and HTML sites?

Am I right that if a site are changed this way they are not supported by Yola?

Can I suggest information on how these sites are created to support new creators like myself?

Hi Richard,

All sites built with the Yola sitebuilder use the pre-defined Styles. Other styles won't work with the sitebuilder. Many have been used as the basis of sites and often done by addition of the resident widgets. Others have been customised by modification of the HTML through the appropriate CSS.

Yola officially can't support custom coding. At the same time I have seen many of the staff help users with issues when they have done so. It's just that customisation potentially brings in infinite variation and the CS staff isn't infinite in size and resources so they can't officially "support" customisation for this reason.

Suggestions for additional functionality are always noted and responded to. The suggestions are obviously reviewed and some are implemented in due course.

In addition to Gops's reply, many users ask for help with custom coding here on the forum, and receive help from Gop, Crystal and other members of the forum. It is one the remaining strong points of this forum.
You should also note that most of the styles are displayed are paid styles, which do allow custom css.
