Hello Dag-Eirik

This must have been a temporary glitch. When I view your Site Traffic statistics in your My Yola, I can see realistic figures. Please clear your cache and cookies, and try again. Let me know if this doesn't solve the problem.

If you can link me to those of your posts which you feel haven't been answered, I will be happy to check and do my best to assist you further.

The other questions:
1. Is there any way to point to my website http://www.movit.no/ from Facebook ? Now it just points to the Facebook version, or is it the same? Will the visits still be counted in Analytics?

2. I didn't get the Google Adwords credit, but they gave me something in Adwords. Will get it from you, or not?

3. Share a friend didn't work

4. Aviary and resizing, how is it going?

5. The Analytics code is visible in FB, but I haven't updated after I removed two of them. It differs from the two other coder, right? (Site tracking and google webmaster)

6. I got a discount on my next purchase, Can I use it on an upgrade?

Hello Dag-Eirik

I hope I will be able to answer your questions:
  1. Your website and the Facebook version of your website are not identical. The Facebook version has a different look and may have a different layout. The Facebook version is – just as the Mobile version – a kind of simplified version compared to your web version in order to make it fit into the Facebook environment. The point of having a Facebook version of your website is that visitors to your Facebook business page can go to a version of your website without having to leave Facebook. They should be able to do everything that is available on your web version, such as shopping in your Yola Online Store, sending a contact form, etc. You can link to your web version from your Facebook page by adding the URL of your website somewhere on your Facebook page (there are different options). If you want to link from your Facebook version to your web version, you'd actually need to add the URL of your website to your web version, so that it gets displayed on your Facebook version as well. However, in your Facebook settings you will be able to provide the URL to your website at various spots of your Facebook profile and page. Please refer to Facebook Support for further questions on this. – According to my understanding of Google Analytics, it counts the statistics related to a particular URL. Since your web version and your Facebook version have different URLs, Google Analytics will not count traffic to your Facebook version as traffic to your web version. Nevertheless, to track your traffic to your Facebook version, you will be able to add the direct URL of your Facebook version to your Google Analytics account.

  2. We are currently looking into the problem with the Google AdWords codes which doesn't seem to be on our side. Your request is on our agenda, and we will come back to you as soon as we have any news.

  3. The Refer-a-Friend option should be working again by now. Please clear your cache and cookies, and try again. I have checked it in your Yola account directly, and it worked for me using Firefox 15 and Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m.

  4. We are still working on the error with Aviary. This will take some time, and I'd like to ask you for your further patience. Please note that Aviary is designed as a basic tool for a quick image editing within Sitebuilder, and we're busy making it work again, however if you are looking for a more sophisticated feature, you can use powerful alternative tools from the internet or offline, such as Pixlr.com, or Adobe Photoshop, etc.

  5. If your Google Analytics code is visible on your website or on the Facebook version, you must have added it to an incorrect spot of your website. Google Analytics, Site Tracking, and Google Webmaster codes are all different codes and must be applied to the designed areas in your Site Settings dialogue box.

  6. You're welcome to use your coupon for any product you purchase with Yola, inlcuding a feature package upgrade, but except for domain purchases.

I hope this helps!

Thank you! I think it is most important to take your time and answer worried customers, like you just did. I'm calmer and more satisfied. Hope you get a raise.

My boss said that I would get an increase if you spent more money on Yola. ;-) Does our Refer-a-Friend feature work again in your My Yola?

Hello again. I would use more money on an upgrade if it's worth the money. And if I get the 20% off as promised. At the moment nobody can find me on the net, so local boost could be something. Can you recommend a bundle?

One more thing: In Googles webmasters tools I haven't confirmed my website. I tried to ask this question earlier with a title like Asyncronuos snippet..Maybe I allready have all the information I need, if I "access the webmaster tools via a webhoster" Do I? Like they say here: How to verify your site

To verify that you own a site, you have a number of options. You can:

Add a meta tag to your home page (proving that you have access to the source files). To use this method, you must be able to edit the HTML code of your site's pages.
Upload an HTML file with the name you specify to your server. To use this method, you must be able to upload new files to your server.
Verify via your domain name provider. To use this method, you must be able to sign in to your domain name provider (for example, GoDaddy.com or networksolutions.com) or hosting provider and add a new DNS record.
Add the Google Analytics code you use to track your site. To use this option, you must be an administrator on the Google Analytics account, and the tracking code must use the new asynchronous snippet.
Webmaster Tools will check to see that the specified tag, file, record, or code is present. If it is, we consider you a site owner and will show you site details.

We don't use the verification file we ask you to create for any purpose other than to make sure you can upload files to the site. Read more about our commitment to privacy in the Google Privacy Policy.

If you access Webmaster Tools via a web hoster, your site is already verified, and all your information is already available to you.

If you created a new site using Google Sites, that site will now appear verified in Webmaster Tools. (Your site must be created using the same Google Account you use for Webmaster Tools.) If your site doesn't appear on the Webmaster Tools home page, click Add a site. Your site will be added and automatically verified. However, older sites are not automatically verified, and should be verified using the meta tag method.

Hello Dag-Eirik

If you want to use Google Webmaster for your Yola website, please ignore Google's instructions on this and just follow the steps of our tutorial Google Webmaster.

For Yola you will need to choose the meta tag option and add it to a particular area of your Site Settings (Site Builder).

When you follow the steps and you should get stuck anywhere, please let us know, and we'll be happy to help.
