Hello,
Yes you could use sliced images if you uploaded all of the images to your File Manager and wrote the proper html code. Here is a link to a website with some information on using sliced images.
Hope this helps,
Emmy

Hi Lycnan76,
Perhaps you can give me some idea of what it is that you're trying to achieve?
Image slicing is how many applications like Photoshop or Fireworks chop and code images for use as navigation requiring roll-overs, etc. It is not the best way to build an entire web-page however. Here's a link to explain it's usage and may help to clarify things: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slicing_...
A background image can be tiled in order to enhance download speed. Here are some handy background image generators that may inspire you.

I hope this has been helpful,

Hi Tracy Gander
Thanks for your reply, I want to slice the background image to load faster, At the moment I am using 2 different backgrounds, One for Index page and other for all my other pages. here is my website
www.nellasbullsmalta.com
The link EMmy gave me works great with taht HTML code, but I cant see or if I can use that HTNL code for the backgrounds since the option is to pick an image from the file manager.
thanking you in advance and awaiting your reply

Hi Lycan76,
Apologies for my tardy reply, I've been away and am catching up.
I'm afraid that we don't support CSS customisation (in order to alter the code for your background image). However, you can easily add an image on several of our Styles using the Resource Manger.

FYI, we currently have 5 styles where you can add a background:
1. Tastelessly
2. CleanSlate
3. BareNecessities
4. NoFrills
5. SqueakyClean
These styles can be found in the first 10 of the style selection (click on 'Change Style' to see the style selection).
To change your background on your page, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Properties" tab on the sidebar on the right.
2. At the bottom of the "Properties tab", under "Background image" click on the three dots (...) to choose or upload an image.
3. Click on "OK" and the image will be added as a background to your page.
Please note that the background will apply to that specific page and not to the whole site. To remove the background image, follow the same steps above and click on the 'None' button in the image selector dialog box that opens.
