Hello Vasey888

Are you asking if you can add JQuery to your site? If so, then yes! You can add JQuery by dragging over an HTML Widget and pasting in the JQuery code.

I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if it does not.

Hi Vasey888 i believe i have found some instructions on how to create this.
http://www.marcofolio.net/webdesign/j...
They give you an option to download the source file and instructions how to install it.
Give it a go and write back if you need any assistance.

mmmm - am being dense - I fell at the first hurdle. Was checking this bit out :

http://docs.jquery.com/Tutorials:How_...

and it says download jquery and then in the first set of example code to change the src attribute to point to my copy.. so not exactly sure how to do that...

also - like CSS3 is this going to be lost on anyone not set up to use/view jquery.

as you can tell I am a 100% beginner and the basic logic is often what confuses me the most..

apologies.

either way having lots of fun adding cool boxes with shadows and text with a slight shadow - http://natanddaveoctober2011.yolasite...

Hi everyone,
in order to use JQuery effects , your site must have JQuery library.(which is nearly 5 Megabytes)

then, you can code your page with any possible effect.

I think Yola's interface is the best for WYSIWYG Editing, but not for custom php.

This is not php and can be done on Yola. It's easiest with Yola Silver though it can work on Free with an external js host. Assuming you have Silver, download the source file at the link John gave you. Upload the images, two css files, and four js files. Before you upload the css files open them in an editor such as Notepad (I use TextWrangler on Mac). Correct all the urls so that they have "resources" in front of them--like this: resources/images/arrow.png Do this for both css files then upload them to your file manager. Next, open the "default html" file with an editor such as notepad and add "resources" for all the urls including the css urls, js urls, and images. Change any text to what you want. Save it, copy it and paste it into an html widget on the page where you want it. Any questions, please ask.

Hi, Cosmic Sensorium,

One host I know of is opendrive.com You will need to give them a link somewhere on your site to use them for free. You can google for other hosts but what you are looking for is a host that allows "hot-linking". Once you upload your file to the host, you will need the direct url. Take a look at the html and find the url with the name of the js file--replace this url with the direct url from your host. There are 4 js files.

Also, the two css files can be uploaded to your file manager. Make sure you have the correct urls in the html as well. They should look like: resources/css.file

Also, I forgot to mention above that if you make a folder in the File Manager, the folder name needs to be in the url as well: resources/foldername/filename

Let me know if you have more questions.
