Slideshow with HTML from slideful.com that just won't work

I've created a slideshow on my site that is square and on the left below the banner and navigation. On the right is all of the text. The problem is that when you make the webpage half-screen, the text disappears behind the slideshow. I've tried putting the html code inside of a custom panel, putting the text in a custom panel, but nothing seems to be working. Below is the code I've used, I just need the slideshow to scale to the page size essentially, or to move up and let the text move down. Can anybody help?
