is it possible to post a slideshow to my page, without using the "slide" widget?

You can use Picasa Web Albums to create a Flash slideshow to embed in your site. Each slideshow features built-in playback controls, size options, and the ability to display captions.

To create and embed a slideshow:

1. Sign in to your Google Account for Picasa Web Albums using your Google Account username and password.
2. Click the "My Photos" link and select the album you'd like to make a slideshow.
3. Click on the "Link to this album" - at the right of your screen.
4. Then click the "Embed Slideshow" link. This creates a Flash slideshow from the album you've selected. When you update this album, your slideshow is automatically updated to show the latest photos.
5. To embed the slideshow, copy and paste the HTML code that's shown into an HTML Widget on your webpage.

Here is how to add a Flickr slideshow to your site:

1. Go to Flickr Slideshow.
2. On your Flickr account, open up your photostream page and copy the web page address from the address bar. (e.g. and paste into first box on the flickrslideshow page.
3. Enter the tags if you have a collection of specific photos you want to use.
4. Determine the slideshow width & height.
5. Click on "Create Slideshow". If it works, you should see your photos come up in the preview.
6. Copy the HTML code provided and paste into an HTML Widget on your Sitebuilder.
7. Save and republish your site.

Please keep in mind that you can gladly use your preferred search engine, such as Google, to search for other alternatives. If it can be added to your site via HTML, it is most likely compatible with Yola!
