Yola itself and our Yola-hosted sites are loading very slowly. Pages are taking much longer to load up than normal. Please advise. (The problem is not at our end.)

Hello Paul,

We are not aware of any lag on our servers. Can you please let me know where you are connecting to the internet from?

Paul it seems obviouse that the issue is with you guys and not our geographic area's along with our SP's. Especially When all but yola based websites are the only one loading slowing to not loading. Let me be the first to tell you that there is a problem.

I have been having the same problem for the last three or four days. My website either is very slow to load, or doesn't load at all giving me an "Error 503".

I have tried looking at my site from my PC and laptop at home, and my PC at work, and have the same experience with all three computers, using two different internet connections.

I've tried clearing cache and cookies to no avail.

I'm using Firefox 8.0 and my website is www.farragio.com.

Hi Farragio,

Thanks for contacting us. I am not sure what you consider 'slow', but your site opened within 1 1/2 seconds for me.

Please try opening your website on a different browser and let us know if you are seeing different results. I have opened your website in FF 3.6.24, Safari 5 and Google Chrome 15 and on each browser had a very quick load.

Sometimes the sites load okay but most times they load very slow.
It seems the first time they load slow and once you are into the pages they go fast but by then they are on the computer.
My site is doing the same. Very slow most of the time, but once in awhile they seem to load okay.

Hi Brianna, "slow" as in taking as much as 30 seconds to load, or as I mentioned previously it doesn't load at all and instead gives me an "Error 503" page.

I'm having the same experience rjk1 is having. Sometimes it loads fine but other times it has the problems.

Today it's been working better.

Hi Guys,

The difficulty that we are having is that we know our servers are performing as they should now and we are unable to replicate the slowness you are speaking of. The slowness could be occurring do to a slower connectivity on your internet or even if your network provider has cached your site.

I am already assisting Ron via email in this regard, farragio, if you continue to notice slowness, by all means, please capture a screen video of this using Jing. It is a free website capturing program that can help us to see what it is you are experiencing. Thanks!

I am just uploading the video from Jing and will try and send you the link when it is done.
I did capture the one page that took over 20 seconds to open.

Sorry for the talking to myself at the end. Did not really know how Jing worked.
Will do better the next time, but Yola should be able to get the drift

Hi, All,

We haven't been able to replicate these issues but I would like to see if there is any commonality. Can you please let us know your browser and version (if you haven't already) and your ISP. I am seeing a number of Canadian sites and there may be an ISP issue there. Can you please contact your ISP or network provider and see if they are having an issue or if they are caching on their side? Thanks for working with us on this. These issues are always difficult to pinpoint but I know they're frustrating!

I have sent a video to Brinna showing the slow time on the sites.
I am in Canada and my ISP is Telus, but we have people from Australia with the same issues. Probably not our providers as only Yola sites have the problem

I have notice in the last 30 days i was having load issues with one of my websites meaningh the load time was to the point of bringing up an error that IE cannot display the webpage so i loaded fire fox, safari and opera at first no issues with other browser but then i started getting slow load with all my other websites. i have talk to the help desk they gave me some idea what the issues might be so i had typed all the text instead of copy past from word also min all pictures but i am still having the same issues if you are reading this please try www.soleilpowercanada.com and let me know if you have issue or if there is a slow load time. I am desperate for a fix. This has been going on for over 30 days now.

There doesn't seem to be any consistency with this issue, as reported on the merged thread last night my site was slow to load and some pages even displayed the 503 error message, today its back to normal.
I'm in the UK and site was slow using both the latest versions of Firefox and IE

Hi Sanja

My sites are www.aconitejewel.com and www.bonaparte-art.com

Both continue to load slowly. They previously loaded almost instantaneously as all images were optimised to the maximum. Now images and even entire page sections lag or fail to load at all (randomly).

Yola definitely appears to be experiencing an issue here.

I'm in Australia if that's of any relevance. Only my Yola sites are loading slowly. Bit of a pattern.

Enough of us are having this problem off and on that Yola NEEDS to take a broader look at overall service...I can tell you for a fact that until the last 6 months or so this sort of thing was very very rare...It is showing in my Webmaster account also as links not found when my site is crawled....That used to be a very rare occurrence also
