sluggish loading speeds

for me, my sites loading a little slow.

Can someone test it see if its just my connection.

my sitebuilder isn't running too good, I can't insert links, the html takes a long time to open up, and it takes a minute to insert pasted material. Unusual.

Hey all,

We've just done a minor update to the site builder - could you try logging out and in again and it should solve the problem. Otherwise, it may need some time.

Let us know if you don't see a change.

I'll check my site again in the morning. It loads... just takes alot longer than other sites.

Site builder is faster loading but my published sites are all very slow loading as compared to normal.

Your site is loading fast for me. Are you able to try in a different browser?

It is slow on other browsers also....Since other sites are loading quickly for me and my site loads fine for you I am going to assume there is a bottleneck happening someplace between where I am and your servers.

Hello Alan,
When you create a link you won't be able to test it in the Site Builder. To test it you can click "Preview Page" and test the link there. Please give this a try and let us know if you are still having troubles.

I am having bigger issues that just a link . I have just re-done a post because it just disappeared while i was on the post page . Second post has spacing errors i can't seem to correct and a link i need to delete but can't . Font changed size for no apparent reason . I am now stuk at the bottom of the post page and the screen apparently is frozen because when i click OK nothing happens . I am not having trouble accessing other web sites so i don't think it's a browser issue .

I would like to to just try a few things and then give it another try in the blog editor. If this doesn't help please email us at support@yola.com and we can take a closer look at your problem from there. Let us know what browser you are using.

1. Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.

2. Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). We would suggest using the Firefox browser as this browser seems to work best in the Yola environment. It is a free download if you would like to give it a try: Download Firefox.

Hello all,

Lee has said that Updating is back to full speed. Please let us know if you are still having any troubles. I have tested this as well and it seems to be Updating at full speed for me as well.

Hi.
I have been having some issue for some time now. When i load my sites homepage it takes about 5-7minutes to load. And the banner sometimes doesn't appear because the connection times out due to the speed.

Hi Adam,

Your site loads in a matter of seconds for me - it could be your connection. Please try other sites that are not hosted by Yola to compare, or leave it for a while and return.

Me too, the site loads in seconds, no delay.

Do you not have the same issue with any other sites?

If other sites load fast and yours does not, but it does for other internet users then its really hard to trouble shoot.

What browser are you using?... and what version.

Do you clear your browsers history from time to time?

The issue is not yola, but my ISP. The tower i am connected to is undergoing unscheduled maintenance.

Thanks 4 the help anyway.

BTW, my computer is set to clear private browsing data every day automatically

Thanks for the feedback. Just for the record i do not own the site, i am just a voluntary staff member working on the site. Tommorw we are hopefully removing the Footer, and releasing some new features towards our members.
