SO Tired of refreshing Yola

Why does Yola invariably stop responding when I'm right in the middle of editing? I save my work as I go, but some things take time. It's very frustrating that I have to refresh Yola and lose everything I haven't saved.

Hi Sunny,

I'm sorry to hear you are struggling to update your website. We have not received any similar complaints about slowness in the Sitebuilder today. Can you tell us more about what is happening? Do you receive an error message? Are you working on a page with a lot of content? Has this been ongoing for you or did it just begin today? Have you checked your connection or tried an alternate browser?

Would you mind sharing the site URL you are working on?

I know I've just asked you a lot of questions but any additional information you can provide will assist us in troubleshooting the problem for you further.

My site is www.sunnylindsayarts.com. This has been happening ever since I signed on with Yola. Sometimes I get an error message from my browser that says, "Yola is not responding". Sometimes I don't. I'm using Internet explorer 9, just like the majority of users out there. Yes, my site has a lot of content, mainly jpg.s of my art.

I've tried to find a way to use thumbnails that expand when clicked, but I guess that feature isn't available. I don't believe my site is stable. Somewhere along the way I got a pop-up saying so. There's one error that I know of, but I cannot explain. If you go to the site - go the the sample art page. You'll see a painting of a man holding a newborn. It's called "Moab Nights". I accidentally click on it and found that it was a link to one of the paintings I have for sale. Something is definitely very wrong. I would appreciate any help you can give me to solve these many mysteries.

Thank you for taking the time to share this information. I believe it will help us to resolve the issues.

I suggest upgrading your Flash and your Java to see if that helps. We also recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox for optimal Sitebuilding experience. Would you mind trying these suggestions to see if your Sitebuilder's performance improves?

As for the link, if you go to the Picture Widget of the man holding a baby, and click on the "Edit" link. You'll see that you have added a link to that picture "resources/6344764". If you click on the "Clear" button, this will remove the link. Click on "Save".
