On the social birds theme I am trying to change the background colour of the khaki green panel the text and images sits on to the colour #EEE8CD - when I edit the CSS on the layout row1 part it changes the colour of the panel to this desired colour, but only to about half way down. Is it possible to change it all the way down?

Hello

I wasn't able to find any Yola account by the e-mail address you use for our forum. Can you please provide your URL for me to check if I can assist you with this?

Hello

Thank you for your information. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any website in this account which has the Social Birds Style. Did you change it in the meantime? If you still need my assistance, please change the Style to Social Birds again, and let me know the website name for me to find your site quickly.

Hello

Thanks, I was able to locate your website. When I checked your CSS overrides, I noticed that the left-hand side overrides box was not used as it should be. All original CSS code has been copied over to the overrides box, which is not the correct way to work with the Site CSS feature. This could be the reason why changing the background didn't properly work.

What you need to add to the overrides box is only the code that changes. So if you have this code for the background in the original CSS:
#layout_row1 {

background: #afa55e url(http://s1.yolacdn.net/V0000046/template_resources/0/Birds/resources/common/images/upper_main_bg.png) bottom left repeat-x;
padding: 2em;
}

and you want to change the background colour to #EEE8CD, all you add to your overrides field is this:
#layout_row1 {

background: #EEE8CD;
}

When I tried it, it worked, and the whole background was changed.

Please remove all doubled code in your overrides box, and then retry changing the background colour with the code provided above.

Let me know how that goes.
